“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”
– Buddha
I believed that I had to make everyone else happy first — my friends, my family, even people who barely knew me. I would say “yes” when I wanted to say “no,” smile when I was breaking inside, and try to earn love by giving too much of myself away. Just to be simple that first i was thinking ๐ค about the people which are around me they should be happy they should be happy ๐ they don't get hurt by me even they are hurting me I was ok with it but sometimes it becomes the prison of my own limits which i have created for my self not hurt anyone by me ....But then I realised that I was foolish person before 2 years because I was thinking that the people around me they are carring person for me but I was totally understand that I am doing wrong with my self that for others then I start hating my self ๐ when I realised that people are just using me for there means....
But one day I realized something powerful: you can’t pour from an empty cup.. thanks to Lord Buddha philosophy s has changed some of my thoughts ๐ญ some of my life's decision where I was wrong with my self at one time ๐.That was the moment everything started to change myself slowly slowly . Just spending some alone time ๐ with me to understand my self ..
๐ฟ What Self-Love Really Means๐ฟ
It means knowing your worth even when no one praises you . It’s choosing peace over approval, rest over burnout, and truth over pretending.Loving yourself doesn’t mean ignoring others or thinking you’re better than them.
Self-love is about:
Accepting your flaws instead of hiding them.
Setting healthy boundaries without guilt.
Forgiving yourself for your past mistakes.
Speaking kindly to yourself — even on b
ad days.
It’s a quiet, gentle strength that grows inside you — not loud or proud, but peaceful and real.

๐ธ How It Changes Everything
When you start loving yourself first, your world doesn’t suddenly become perfect — you become stronger. And that changes how you experience everything around you.
๐ซ 1. Relationships Feel Healthier
You no longer chase people’s approval because you already value yourself. You stop begging for love that hurts and start attracting people who respect your boundaries.
๐ง♀️ 2. You Make Better Choices
From food to friendships, you start choosing what truly nourishes you. You stop trying to impress others and begin doing what feels right for your peace.
๐ 3. Confidence Grows Naturally
When you believe you’re enough, you stop comparing yourself to others. You realize that your journey doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s.
๐ 4. You Feel Inner Peace
Loving yourself means you don’t fight your reflection anymore. You don’t rush to change who you are. You just breathe, accept, and move forward with kindness.

๐ป My Turning Point
There was one night when I felt completely lost. I had done everything to please others, yet I still felt invisible. That’s when it hit me — I had spent years loving everyone except the one person who needed it most: me.
So I began small — I wrote positive notes to myself, spent time alone without my phone, and said “no” when I needed rest. It wasn’t easy, but slowly, I started feeling lighter. I started feeling… enough.

๐ท The Truth That Changed Everything
When you love yourself first, you stop looking for validation outside. You stop waiting for someone else to tell you that you matter. You simply know it.
And from that place of peace, love flows naturally — to others, to your dreams, to your life.
Because when you finally choose yourself, everything else falls into place.

✨ Remember, you are not hard to love. You just need to start with the person in the mirror.
